On February 15, 2017 the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus hosted a Forum of working youth of Minsk Pervomaisky District. The event was dedicated to the Year of Science. Leaders of the NAS of Belarus and representatives of the Pervomaisky District executive committee addressed the working youth of Minsk Pervomaisky District and leaders of primary organizations of the Public Association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union." Young scientists reported on laser technologies in medicine, issues of computer screening of drugs, and genetic research and innovations in biotechnology. The Forum participants visited a permanent NASB exhibition and got acquainted with activities of such organizations of the NAS of Belarus as the Institute of Genetics and Cytology, the United Institute of Informatics Problems, and the B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics.
