Modernization of public consciousness in Kazakhstan and Belarus to be discussed at round table at NASB Institute of Sociology

The International round table "Modernization of Public Consciousness in Kazakhstan and Belarus as the Guarantee of Further Successful Development of the States" will be held at the NASB Institute of Sociology on 21 June 2017.

The round table is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Belarus, the Department of Humanitarian Sciences and Arts of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and the NASB Institute of Sociology.

Ergali B. Bulegenov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus; Vladimir G. Gusakov, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Academician; Aleksandr A. Kovalenya, Academician-Secretary of the NASB Department of Humanitarian Sciences and Arts, Corresponding Member; Igor V. Kotlyarov, Director of the NASB Institute of Sociology, Doctor of Sociology; as well as ambassadors of the CIS countries, leading Belarusian political scientists, sociologists, and specialists in the topic will participate at the International round table.

The international round table is held to analyze and inform the Belarusian public about new initiatives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, as well as to exchange experience between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus in the development of national culture and modernization of public consciousness. Particular attention will be paid to revealing deep foundations of the cultural code of the Kazakh and Belarusian societies, and the problems of its preservation and development. The event will be held in Minsk, vul. Surhanava 1, building 2, Conference Hall, on 21 June 2017, from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.
