Vladimir Gusakov, Chairman of the NASB Presidium, presented the cosmonaut with the achievements of Belarus in the space field. Vladimir Gusakov said that at present Belarus and Russia have initiated a new Russian-Belarusian spacecraft remote sensing of ultra-high resolution (RBS). The set of technical characteristics of the new RBS, the creation of which Russian and Belarusian experts have begun this year, will allow obtaining space images with the settings that are not yet available on the world market, and thus guaranteed the demand for the manufacture of such spacecrafts. In addition, new opportunities arise for users of space-based information, digital cadastral models of large cities and other high-tech information applications become reality, and the level of tasks solved to enhance the defense capacity and security of Belarus and the Union State is significantly increased.
