2nd Eastern Partnership E-infrastructure Conference (EaPEC 2017)

The Second International Conference on Electronic Infrastructures of the Eastern Partnership EaPEC 2017 (Eastern Partnership E-Infrastructure Conference) will be held in Minsk on 27-28 September 2017. EaPEC 2017 aims to serve as a platform for collaboration on supports community building in e-Infrastructures between the Eastern Partnership region and the EU member states.

This conference will focus on e-Infrastructures for Open Science in Europe. Speakers will lead interactive discussions about important for Belarus and other Eastern partnership countries areas such as IT and cultural heritage, HPC and data analytics, robotics, deep learning.

EaPEC 2017 is organised by the EU-funded project EaPConnect and welcomes policy makers, researchers, students, and experts on networking and high performance computing for research and education from EaP countries and all over the world. The "Lightning Talks" session (short technical presentations by students, young scientists, representatives of start-ups) is planned to be held during the conference.

In Belarus, the conference is hosted by BASNET, the Belarusian network for research and education and beneficiary partner of the EaPConnect project, in cooperation with the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus supported by the Scientific and Technological Association "Infopark".

Time and venue: Minsk Johannes Rau International Centre for Education and Exchange (11 Gazety Pravda Avenue, Minsk, Belarus), 27-28 September 2017. An opening ceremony will take place on 27 September 2017 at 9.30.
