The purpose of the Agreement is to make the interaction between the NAS of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs systematic in the following fields: monitoring, analysis and forecasting the development of international global and regional political and economic processes; strategic planning of measures for the development of international cooperation (expert review of the current foreign policy and problematic issues of international relations in the context of the Belarusian national interests); promotion of products of Belarusian organizations in foreign markets; popularization of the historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of the Belarusian people.
The cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus will also contribute to the scientific and practical, information and analytical support of the foreign policy and foreign economic activities of the Republic of Belarus, including the issues of becoming Belarusian economy more competitive and promoting its effective integration into the world economic system.
