Vladimir Gusakov, Chairman of the NASB Presidium, and Vladimir Ulakhovich, BelCCI Chairman, signed an Agreement on Cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry at a solemn meeting of the BelCCI Presidium.

The Agreement aims at cooperation of the parties in order to develop business relations, expand intra-republican and foreign economic relations, increase business activity, provide competitive positions and promote products in the domestic and foreign markets.

The BelCCI and the NAS of Belarus agreed to exchange information on the main directions and trends in the development of the high-tech market; on enterprises, foreign economic organizations and companies; registration procedures for enterprises and representative offices of foreign companies; export and import nomenclature; fairs and exhibitions. They also agreed to provide each other with advice; to assist in organizing and conducting symposia, conferences and other events; to promote the development of small and medium-sized businesses; to help in search for trading partners; to organize joint exhibitions and exhibitions of the NAS of Belarus organizations; to promote the participation of scientific and technical organizations in exhibitions, fairs and congresses in Belarus and abroad.
