NASB United Institute of Informatics Problems takes part in development and implementation of pilot project “Kryčaŭ as Small Smart Town. Developing Together”

The Kryčaŭ District hosted the 2nd scientific and practical conference on modern methods and means of integrated digital control of a small town like Kryčaŭ. At the conference, the experts discussed conceptual and practical approaches to the introduction of innovative digital technologies to control the territory of a small city like Kryčaŭ, and the concept of a pilot project “Kryčaŭ as Small Smart Town. Developing Together” was presented. The conference focused on innovative potential of the town necessary to implement technologies of digital control of a small city territory. The issue of unified information space as the main component of an integrated information system of regional management and interaction of government bodies and citizens was also touched upon.

As a result of the conference, an expert meeting on the introduction and use of digital technologies in the area of electronic control of the territory of a small city was held, and the concept of a pilot project “Kryčaŭ as Small Smart Town. Developing Together” was signed.

The conference and expert meeting were attended by specialists from the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the NAS of Belarus, the National Cadastral Agency, the Belgiprozem Project Institute of the State Committee on Property of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian State Technological University, RUE Beltelecom of the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Belarus, Krichev Secondary School No. 8, the Center of Information Technologies of Minsk City Executive Committee, Open Joint-Stock Company Belarusbank, etc.
