On May 17, International Seminar on Longevity, Nutrigenomics and Traditional Knowledge Related to Genetic Resources, National Cuisine and Medicine to be held

On 17 May 2018, at 3:30 p.m., the International Seminar on Longevity, Nutrigenomics and Traditional Knowledge Related to Genetic Resources, National Cuisine and Medicine will be held at the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. The event is scheduled as a part of scientific cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Autonomous Region of Sardinia (Italy) in the field of active longevity research.

The seminar will feature reports on the specifics of providing assistance to the elderly in Belarus and Sardinia. Issues of proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle, genetics of aging and longevity, and genetics of nutrition (nutriogenetics) will also be considered.

The President of the Global Community of Longevity Roberto Pili, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to the Republic of Belarus Mario Baldi, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy) Giuseppe Carboni, famous Belarusian and Italian scientists are expected to take part in the seminar.
