Researchers of A.V. Lykov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of NAS of Belarus awarded First Yu. Ostrovsky International Prize

N. Bazylev and N. Fomin, Researchers of the A.V. Lykov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus, have been awarded the First Yu. Ostrovsky International Prize for the best scientific works in the field of optical holography and interferometry, namely for their monograph Quantitative Visualization of Flows Based on Speckle Technologies, which was published in the Belaruskaya Navuka (Belarusian Science) Publishing House in 2016. The work was unanimously supported by the Prize Organizing Committee.

The Prize is awarded by the Ioffe Institute (St. Petersburg, Russia) annualy since 1997. The works or cycles of works, which were performed in the CIS territory and published within 5 years preceding the contest year, are accepted for participation in the contest.
