Introducing the sports festival, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov noted: “This is the most representative of all the academic games and this time it is very well organized, all participants are well prepared.”
The Summer Games 2018 gathered 35 teams, more than 200 participants.
The team of the Powder Metallurgy Institute ranked first, the team of the Institute of Vegetable Growing ranked second and the team of the Scientific and Practical Center for Agriculture Mechanization ranked third. The NASB Department of Humanities and Arts won gold, the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics won silver, and bronze went to the Department of Agrarian Sciences. The winning teams were awarded with cups and medals, prizes. Participants showing special distinction were awarded diplomas.
The United trade union organization of workers of the NAS of Belarus thanks all the teams that took part in the Summer Games, as well as the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and partners who helped to organize the event.
