On 19 October 2018, a press conference on support and stimulation of scientific activity of the NASB young scientists was held at the Press Center of the Press House. The event was attended by Olga A. Gaponenko, Head of the Department of Prizes, Scholarships and Awards of the NASB Main Personnel and Personnel Policy Department; Stanislav S. Yuretsky, Researcher of the NASB Institute of History, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the NASB Department of Humanities and Arts; Natalya A. Martseleva, NASB Press Secretary.

Olga A. Gaponenko told the media about material support of young scientists in the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, including prizes, contests, grants, etc. In particular, she mentioned about the NASB and the Alferov’s Foundation joint Prize; a special competition for young scientists dedicated to the NASB 90th anniversary; and the formation of the 100 talents database of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
