On 12 December 2018 (Wednesday), at 4:00 p.m., a meeting of the Interagency Nutrition Coordination Council will be held at the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The Council members, heads of the NASB organizations, famous scientists, as well as representatives of different ministries and departments of our country will attend the event.

The meeting is scheduled to consider two issues.

1. Elena M. Morgunova, Deputy Director General for Standardization and Food Quality of the Scientific and Practical Center for Foodstaffs of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, will deliver the report “Health Effects of Palm Oil on the Population of the Republic of Belarus”.

2. Irina M. Pochitskaya, Head of the Republican Control and Testing Complex on Foodstaffs Quality and Safety of the Scientific and Practical Center for Foodstuffs of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, PhD in Agriculture, will deliver the report “Vegetables and Fruits. Comparative Characteristics of Fresh Vegetables and Fruits from Belarus and Abroud”.
