Russian Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Sciences of Belarus announces winners of two academies awards contest in 2018

The Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus announced the winners of RAS and NASB awards contest of 2018.

Based on the proposals from the Russian-Belarusian Commission on inter-academic awards, developed following the results of RAS and NASB awards contest, it was decided to award the prizes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in 2018:

In the natural sciences, the winner is a team of Russian and Belarusian scientists for the series of works “Protein biochemistry of cytochrome P450-dependent monooxygenase systems”:

The Prize of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in Humanities and Social Sciences was awarded to the team of Russian and Belarusian scientists for the monograph "The Country in the fire of 1941 – 1945" in three volumes, six books (2011 – 2017):

Prizes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus are awarded every three years for outstanding scientific results obtained during joint research in the field of natural, technical, Humanities and social sciences that have important scientific and practical value. Russian and Belarusian scientists who are citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus and work in scientific organizations subordinated to the Ministry of science and higher education of the Russian Federation, and in scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus can participate in the competition for prizes. Works or series of joint works performed by a team of scientists from scientific organizations subordinated to the Ministry of science and higher education of the Russian Federation and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus may be submitted to the competition. The author's team of the work nominated for the competition should not exceed three people on each side. The amount of one award is set at USD 10,000.
