In accordance with the plan of events dedicated to the Day of Belarusian Science the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites to Open Days from 21 to 31 January. Visitors will learn about the history of the library, its information resources and services, and rare editions presented at the exhibition "Scientific treasure of past centuries." A book exhibition dedicated to the Belarusian scientist, inventor of electrography and wireless transmission of electrical signals Yakov Narkevich-Iodko will be presented at the information and exhibition center for visitors - “I hope that my work will bring my modest contribution to science in time ...”

The Open Days program also includes screenings of documentary popular science films about Belarusian scientists, book exhibitions and other events.

In addition, the library invites everyone to take part in books exchanging event "Change a book for a book or give it in good hands!"
