NASB representatives rank first in in the final of the international youth contest 100 Ideas for the CIS

Representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus ranked first in in the final of the international youth contest 100 Ideas for the CIS which was held in Baku on 15 November 2019.

The winner in the Industrial and Construction Technology and Manufacturing category is Dmitry Trusov, junior researcher at the laboratory of gas thermal methods for hardening machine parts of the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the NAS of Belarus, with the project ‘Development of technology for composite parts formation from polymers by rapid prototyping of a subsequent hypersonic metallization’. Lyudmila Sokolovskaya, a senior researcher of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, is the winner in Agricultural Technology and Manufacturing category. She presented the project ‘Innovative technologies for the production of condensed canned milk with a reduced content of disaccharides’.

Belarus presented ten R&D projects in Azerbaijan. Their authors are winners of the national youth contest 100 Ideas for Belarus in 2017 and 2018. In total, 33 young scientists from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan participated in the contest.
