The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has the ramified network of scientific libraries conducting scale work on information maintenance of scientific, scientific and technical and innovation activities as of Academy's organizations, and scientific organizations and higher educational institutions from a whole country. The main place in the academic library network is occupied with the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of NAS of Belarus, which has 25 branches in various organizations of the Academy of Sciences, is the republican depository of the documents in the natural sciences, has three-million assembly of the national scientific documents and the largest fund of the foreign scientific literature in Belarus. The central branch scientific library on information-librarian maintenance of agriculture in the country is the Belarusian Agricultural Library of NAS of Belarus being also the National centre of the international information system for the agricultural sciences and technology of FAO (AGRIS/CARIS), participant of international AgroWeb Network in Central and Eastern Europe AgroWeb CEE and branch national depository of the literature on agriculture.
