Summary: The article gives analysis of the natural resources cadastre legislation currently in force, makes conclusions concerning its shortcomings, disorder, low regulation capacities. It formulates universal methodologically accurate and juridically significant defi-nition of the cadastral phenomenon, suggests normative attaching of definitions for each of the natural resources and environmental cadastres, the maxims of cadastres, its unitized juridically signif-icant tall structure. The article lists scientifically founded classification of order, means and directions of the use of cadastral information in ac-cordance with general regulatory and applied objectives. It makes recommendations and suggestions concerning the betterment of legislation and lawexecution in the field of cadastral registration of natural resources and units.
