Hysteresis at static friction. pp. 694--697
Summary: The process of transition from static friction to sliding friction and backwards is experimentally studied with the purpose of establishing the presence of hysteresis of the friction force. The positive results testify to the possibility of applying the theory of catastrophes to description of this process.

Summary: Mathematical model is considered of flow in stratified lubricant in a clearance of radial bearing. Precise solution is found for the problem of separate flow of viscous and viscoplastic fluid between eccentrically positioned journal and bearing. Optimal values for structural parameters of lubricant and plasticity parameters are found.

Wear resistance as a function of relaxation stability of dislocation structure. pp. 708--714
Summary: Theoretic and experimental study of the fatigue wear process of tribosystem components depending on the state of their surface layer and actual contact area is made. Relaxation stability of imperfect structure is assumed as the main factor of the surface layer material state, A connection between the relaxation stability of the imperfect material structure and friction coefficient is established.

Evaluation of temperature fluctuations at contact interaction underconditions of friction and metal cutting processes. pp. 724--731
Summary: The method of temperature fluctuations evaluation is presented. The method is based on consideration of simplified models of contact interaction at friction and metal cutting processes. It permits to estimate in the first approximation the influence of instability of sliding speed and contact stresses, and structure irregularity of contacting bodies on the comparative value of local temperature field disturbances taking place in subcontact layers of contacting bodies.

Thermophysical and adhesion processes in metal-polymer tribosystems. pp. 745--750
Summary: The analysis of progressive concepts is developed. This ideas determined the basic directs of investigations of thermophysical processes of friction and wear. The principles of influence of temperature and temperature gradient on forming of transfer film and diffusion are settled. The possibilities of prediction and change of physical-mechanical and tribological properties of composites are discussed. Calculation of adhesion bonding on the interface is based on definition of physical (Van-der-Waals) and chemical interaction between components. Directly varying the component composition of a composite, it is possible to achieve increase of its strength and friction characteristics.

Interrelation between tribosystem evolution and the parameters of dynamic system of friction. pp. 751--762
Summary: This article deals with the methods of design and identification of the dynamic models in tribosystem on the base of autoregressive analysis. The result of the identification of the models through the evolution of tribosystems are given. On this basis the changes of the parameters of the dynamic system are found, the relation of determinism and chaos is analyzed, the peculiarities of system bifurcation are given.

Optimum control of wear for the ensuring of reliability of machines. pp. 763--767
Summary: The task of construction of reliable machine with long life is set and the way of its solving with help of cybernetic laws is shown. Problems of collection of information on loads, vibrations and other factors during the work of prototypes and following model, accelerated, and forced tests for acquiring of minimal duration of friction joints service are considered. Extended methods of planning of experiment are suggested.

Triboelectrochemistry of the "wearless" effect. Mechanism of the forming of the protective layers on steel surface in the process of self-organization in tribosystem "cooper--glycerin--steel". pp. 768--778
Summary: The results of the investigation of tribotechnical properties and physico-chemical characteristics of the surface in tribosystem "cooper alloy-glycerin-steel" are presented. The results show that process of the forming non-conductive films on steel surface proceed rapidly and take place already in the first moment of the frictional interaction. The transfer of the cooper alloy and the formation of servovit film proceed slowly. The transfer of the cooper alloy is accomplished in the form of separate fragments of the nanometer size. The evolutionary changies of the stationary electrochemical potential on friction surface confirm persistent change of a structures and properties of the cooper-containing film. The mechanism of realization of the "wearless" effect in the aqeous solution of the glycerin has been proposed on the base of the received results.
