Evaluation of resistance of a phenolic complex of fruit of a Vaccinium x covilleanum Butkus et Pliszka to meteorological and edaphic factors at introduction in Be-lorussian Polesye. pp. 5--11

Summary: For the first time on the establishment of comparative analysis of a level variation parameters of accumulation of phenolic bonds in fruit early-maturing, moderate-maturing and late-maturing varieties of a highbush blueberry in a perennial cycle of observations, on a background of application of mineral fertilizers, the evaluation of their resistance to meteorological and edaphic factors were given.

Phenolic conjugates of healthily and defeat by septoriosum of triticale plants (x Triticosecale Wittmack). pp. 12--15

Summary: Phenolic conjugates identification of plants triticale (x Triticosecale Wittmack) was carried out and among them glycosides of apigenin, luteolin, flavonol and phenolcarboxilic acids esters were found. It is established that the infection of plants Septoria nodorum Berk causes increase of the content of all groups flavonoid glycosides, especially of luteolin glycosides. The level of its content depends on stability of the variety and degree of defeat of plants by phytopathogene.

Influence of the short-time heat shock on the behaviour of the antioxidant enzymes in winter rye seedlings (Secale cereale L.). pp. 16--22

Summary: Seedlings of winter rye on the stage of first true leaf on the short-time heat shock have stronger reacted then seedlings on earlier stage. This was expressed in changes of activity of such antioxidant enzymes as ascorbate peroxidase, guaiacol peroxidase, catalase and superoxide dismutase. Seedlings of winter rye on coleoptile development the stage integrally didn't react on the short-time heat shock, but decrease the activity of guaiacol peroxidase and catalase in chloroplasts indicated on stress sensitivity of these organelles in any plant age.

The effect of epibrassinolide on growth, development and productivity of regenerant hafts of meristeme potato plants (Solanum tuberosum L.). pp. 23--26

Summary: Influence of epibrassinolide onto synthesis photosynthetic pigments and productivity of potato plants of Lazurit sort grown from graft regenerants of meristemic plants at ion-exchange substrate using ionitoponic technology has been stated. It has been shown that epibrassinolide at 10-5%/ha concentration leads to reduction of total mass of a tubers yield of one plant by 11--15% and reduction of reproductive coefficient by 32% of regenerants out of apical grafts. It has been supposed that the effects are connected with existence of phytogormones gradient in a stalk of the parent plant that causes metabolism changes in graft regenerants of various anatomic origins.

Peronosporales of the state wood reserve "Prilukskiy". pp. 27--31

Summary: 79 species of fungi of Peronosporales, being pathogenic on 96 species of nourishing plants from 77 genera and 22 families, were found in wood plant communities of reserve "Prilukskiy". Genera Peronospora Corda includes 60 species, Plas mopara J. Schroet. -- 11, Bremia Regel -- 4, Basidiophora Roze et Cornu -- 1 and, Albugo (Pers.) S. F. Gray --3.8 species from them are resulted for the first time for Belarus.

The mathematical modeling of productivity dynamic of meadow ecosystems. pp. 32--36

Summary: A method of constructing a mathematical model of a meadow ecosystem is presented. This method uses the main trend of association. Using this method mathematical models of meadow ecosystems of rivers Sozh and Oka have been constructed with regard for influence of mineral fertilizers on the dynamics of their herbage.

Summary: There are grounds of imitating modeling usage advantage to productions processes in forest ecosystems research give in this article. It's adduced statistic analysis of author's imitating model for carbon deposition counting in trees of pine forest.

Pattern of variation and correlation between diploid potato meiotic abnormalities "tripolar spindles", "irregular AII" and "fused spindles". pp. 41--45

Summary: The second meiotic division abnormalities "irregular (irr) and tripolar (tps) chromosome segregations" in interspecies hybrids of diploid potato were studied. The results obtained shown these abnormalities are genetically conditioned modifications of the phenomenon "fused spindles" (fs). The frequency of irr and tps varied among genotypes studied, fraction of random effects was great in their variation (at about 50%). The results obtained allow the suggestion that irr and tps are controlled by polygenes, which modify expression of main genes controlling fs. Diploid potato clones with the meiotic abnormalities fs, irr and tps presents are of great interest for further genetic and cytological investigations of the structure and positioning mechanisms of division poles in plants with acentrosomic spindles.

Self-fertility (St) gene effect in winter diploid rye (Secale cereale L.) inbred-line development. pp. 46--49

Summary: The effect of self-fertility genes in new inbred-line creation was studied. It was established that self-fertility gene effect was sharply pronounced by using F1 hybrids than in inbred-line creation on the basis of population cultivars and Sf-gene donor lines.

Mechanisms of RNA polymerase diffusion at gene transcription initiation. pp. 50--53

Summary: The rate of gene transcription initiation is evaluated based on two mecharisms of the process: the space diffusion (3-D) and the one-dimensional (1-D) kinetic-diffusion models. The results show that 1-D mechanism doesn't cause significantly to the binding rate of RNA polymerase with the promoter in comparison with 3-D diffusion.

Stimulative action of kinetin on activity of antioxidative systems of green barley leaves (Hordeum vulgare L.). pp. 54--57

Summary: The levels of total and reduced ascorbate as well as the activity of ascorbate peroxidase and content of superoxide dis-mutase in green barley leaves treated with kinetin were studied. It was shown that kinetin effects on these parameters depended on the duration of kinetin treatment and was more pronounced in 7-days age leaves after spraying for three times to during 3 days. In such condition the contents of total and reduced ascorbare increased on 20 and 60% in comparison with the control, respectively. The activity of ascorbate peroxidase and content of superoxide dismutase increased on 7% and in 2 times compared with the control, respectively. The data obtained indicate that kinetin treatment results in increase of activity of antioxidative systems of plants. It is proposed these plants will be more tolerant to stress conditions.

Influence of 6-benzylaminipurine on the activity of 5-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase in Chlorella kessleri Fott et Novakova. pp. 58--62

Summary: An influence of 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) on the activity of 5-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase (ALAD) in green and greening unicellular alga Chlorella was investigated. Effect of phytohormone depended on the activity of ALAD per chlorophylls amount in control cells. Stimulation was observed only at low ratio of there indicators. The absence of any effects or an inhibition of ALAD activity by BAP was registered at increase of there magnitudes on the order 1--2.

The efficiency of hydrogen productivity of phototrophyc microorganisms. pp. 63--65

Summary: The hydrogen productivity of some micro-organisms such as Rhodobacter spheroides, Spirulina platensis, Nostoc commune, Oscillatoria sp., Dunaliella salina, Scenedesmus acutus, Chlorella kessleri and Euglena gracilis var. bacillaris was investigated. All investigated micro-organisms have appeared capable to produce of hydrogen. The amount of hydrogen depend on the presence of glucose and vanadate in the culture, as well as it depended on the density of culture of micro-organisms. The hydrogen production was shown as light-depend process. Rh. spheroides, D. salina, Sp. platensis, Ch. kessleri and E. gracilis are found as the most active producers of hydrogen.

The purification of wastewaters of milk-processing plant by anaerobic bioreactors with immobilized microorganisms. pp. 66--71

Summary: Process of anaerobic purification of milk processing plant wastewater by bioreactors with immobilized microorganisms, spontaneously proliferation in wastewater, has been investigated. The degree maximum achievable of wastewater purification by COD (90%) under anaerobic conditions at 30°C has been determined. It has been shown the biogas formed in anaerobic destruction of wastewater pollutants, contains 50-70% of methane. Process of wastewater cleaning in flow bioreactors with the fixed carrier and an ascending stream of liquid and in the combined bioreactor based on UASB-reactor, has been investigated. The combined bioreactor has highly efficient, providing COD decrease by 70--89% at organic loading rates 2.6--8.7 kg COD/m'day has been found

The cytogenetic disturbances in sprouts of barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) under the actions of gamma-irradiating of seeds and drought. pp. 72--75

Summary: The y-irradiating of seeds in doses 2.5 and 5.0 Gy raises sensitivity of plants to operation of the stressful factor. The drought at germination of seeds as the modifying factor of damaging operation of an ionizing radiation on a genome of plants was shown.

Variety and intensity of construction beaver's activity (Castor fiber L.) on the small watercourses in Belarus conditions. pp. 76--82

Summary: Density of the beaver Castor fiber L. settlements, description of the forms of the species construction activity, and its variety and intensity in small watercourses of different types are given. It has been shown that in the smallwatercourse valleys the beaver's construction activity is a strong factor transforming the habitats and substantially changing their carrying capacity for animals.

The species of Virgichneumon genus (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae, Ichneumoninae) in Belarus. pp. 83--88

Summary: Faunistic, taxonomic and ecological data (abundance, seasonal dynamics, biotopical distribution, hibernation) of 10 Virgichneumon species from Byelorussia ((V. albilineatus (Grav.), V. albosignatus (Grav.), V. callkerus (Grav.), V. digrammus (Grav.), V. distinctorius (Schmied.), V. dumeticola (Grav.), V.faunus (Grav.), V. krapinensis (Schmied.), V. monostagon (Grav.), V. tergenus (Grav.)) are given. Seasonal dynamic of most part of species indicates for the impossibility their hibernation as adult. Species of Virgichneumon can be found in a maximum abundance in the forest biogeocenosis (7 species and 80.7% of total number), first of all pine forests and alder forests. Most number of different species of genus is in opened ecosystems -- personal plots and meadows (9). Original drawings of the total female and its parts of body of most mass species in the region -- V. dumeticola (Grav.) are given.

The aquatic mites (Acari: Hydracarina) in the Berezinski Biosphere Reserve of the Rivers. pp. 89--93

Summary: The fauna of aquatic mites in the Berezinski Biosphere Reserve of the Rivers was studied. The 54 species were found 14 of them including: Hydrachna gallica PIERSIG, 1916; Thyas pachystoma KOENIKE, 1914; Lebertia dresdensis VIETS, 1928; Lebertia inaequalis (KOCH, 1837); Lebertia natans VIETS, 1924; Lebertia pilosa MAGLIO, 1924; Sperchonopsis verrucosa (PROTZ, 1896); Atraclides pavesii MAGLIO, 1905; Torrenticola amplexa (KOENIKE, 1908); Hygrobates calliger PIERSIG, 1896; Wettina podagrica (KOCH, 1837); Krendowskia latissima PIERSIG, 1895; Arrenurus membranator THOR, 1901; Ar renurus oblongus PIERSIG, 1893 were a new species to the fauna of Belarus. It is concluded that the fauna of aquatic mites is relatively rich and represented by a number of species rare in Belarus and Europe.

The new species of terrestrial molluscs (Gastropoda, Pulmonata) for Belarus. pp. 94--95

Summary: The investigations of the terrestrial molluscs in Belarus have been carried out. Two species, which are new for Belorussian fauna, have been revealed. They are Vitrea crystallina (Muller, 1774) and Chondrula tridens (Muller, 1774).

Cycles of development of Spirometra erinacei-europaei Rudolphi and Sparganum spirometra erinacei Rudolphi in Belarus. pp. 96--102

Summary: Infestation of wolves with Spirometra erinacei-europaei (15%), lynxes (18.5%), dogs (1.22%) has been established. Sparganum spirometra erinacei at wild warthogs at 9.16%, lynxes -- 3.7, dogs -- 19.04, home dogs -- 0.24, hedgehogs -- 22.22, ferrets -- 33.33, American minks -- 25, moles -- 3.7%, and also at one badger and one weasel have been revealed. The transmission of pathogen from as definitive hosts to additional hosts and visa versa can be accomplished only during 70--105 days of the summer period.

Summary: The B-chromosome nature and ways of evolution are considered based on literature data. B-chromosomes play an important role in genome and micropopulation evolution. Different occurrence of additional chromosomes in animal and plant populations represents processes of B-chromosome evolution and new variant formation.

The influence of growth regulators on the root-formation of cuttings of representatives of genus Taxus L. pp. 111--113

Summary: The influence of epin, para-aminobenzoic acid, indolylbutyric acid, naphthylacetic acid, hydrohumate sodium and oxyhumate sodium on growth of the roots of cuttings were shown by the example of Taxus cuspidata Sieb.et Zucc. and Taxus baccata 'Aureovariegata'. Oxyhumate and hydrohumate sodium were found the most effective by common effect.
