Summary: The population of China is an exclusive phenomenon in the history of mankind - ancient history, huge scale, fast development especially in the present time. The article adheres to philosophy of materialism, and the materialism materialistic methodology is applied. Summary: The article is devoted to authorship contract as a legal phenomenon. It attempts in the course of comparative analysis of Soviet and modern Belarusian copyright legislation to define place of authorship contract in the system of civil contracts, to investigate its subject and principal clauses.

Financial relations of government and the farmers. pp. 38--43

Summary: The article reflects some aspects of financial relations between the government and farmers.Problems of taxation and Financing farmers in Belarus are analyzed. Characteristics are given for certain payment operations common for farmers. Examples of solving farm funding problems in the countries of EU and USA have been provided. Mechanisms of correcting governmental loan-fiscal policy towards the farmers are suggested.

Summary: The article deals with the peculiarities of State protection of human rights in comparison with the general international standards and shows the Yemen withdraw from the international rules by giving priority to the national legislation. The article also discloses the essence of political, legal, social and ideological obstacles preventing free exercise of civil rights and leberties.

Development of border-land cooperation in Belarus. pp. 55--60

Summary: Some aspects of mechanism governing transborder cooperation as a regional form of Belarus economic integration have been described. Analysis of social-economic prerequisites for transfrontier links allowed to define possible collaboration trends in the republic. The necessity to elaborate 2 models of trausborder cooperation was substantiated. One encompasses states oriented towards integration into European community, the other covers states forming a regional block with Belarus (Russia and Ukraine).

Origins of market transition theory. pp. 61--67

Summary: Progress of Belarus republic onto mixed multistructural socially-oriented market economy can not rely on the trial-and-error principle. Well-grounded economic solutions of practical and primarily theoretical problems are urgently needed. Elaboration of adapted doctrine, the derived development program and specific economic measures is indispensable. Up-to-date economic concepts and their applications are in store for the reformers. Main approaches lo the theory of transitional period and their sources rooted in contemporary economic trends and schools have been analyzed.

National ideas of rural inhabitants in the 20-s. pp. 76--80

Summary: The problem of national-culturul renaissance in Belarusian countryside has been analyzed. The process of national revival developed mainly via activity of amateur theatrical circles. These circles were initiated by rural teachers and young people. In 1921-1923 amateur actors used to stage plays of Belarusian authors, read lectures on history of Belarus celebrated folk festivals.

Local historical-folklore museums in Belarus founded in the second half of 19 century to early 20 century. pp. 81--86

Summary: The article is focused on foundation and development of the first Belarusian historical -- and local lore museums scarcely covered in modern historical studies. The facts show their broad variety: Vilnya museum of antiquity, museums of provincial statistical committees, church-archeological museums, etc. The author analyses personal data of the founders, and influence of social-political tendencies on museum activities in Belarus in the second half of the XIX -- beginning of the XX centuries.

Summary: The article investigates the kontush waist sashes, produced at the Sluitsk Persian manufactory in 1776--1842. The author tries to findout the nature of the works; was it original artistic phenomenon or just dubbing of Persian traditions.

Origination of main pottery forms in Belarus. pp. 92--98

Summary: The history of principal forms of Belarusian ceramics as the genesis of the national pottery tradition has been traced. The influence of technological and social factors on perfection of the artistic image of the pieces and their regional variations has been demonstrated.

Choreographic image of drama. pp. 99--103

Summary: The paper presents investigation of the choreographic sense of rhythm as one of the most important expressive means of the inherently synthetic dramatic performance. The author makes a brief excursus into the history of Belarusian stage art and shows clearly that the attention paid to the gesture, motion, physical and plastic development of an actor as well as introduction of dancing episodes into the structure of a play date back to the remote past. Special emphasis is focused on the creative work of N.Pinigin, the producer who gives one of the main semantic functions to the choreoraphic sense of rhythm.

Summary: This article is devoted to the scarcely studied part of the traditional Belarusian culture -- ornament, mainly textile as the richest and most varied. Primary classification is performed and semantics of the main patterns is defined.

Anthropological and ethnopsychological analysis of ancient and contemporary Ethiopia. pp. 110--114

Summary: This article presents major facts supporting the postulate of Ethiopia as one of the cradles of mankind, traces dynamics of ethnogenesis, analyses problems of the renaissance of contemporary Ethiopian nation and points out main directions in ethnopsychological research.

Romanticism and genre modifications in lyrical prose of Z.Byadulya. pp. 115--121

Summary: Genre and style characteristics of Z.Byadulya's lyrical works (the cycles "The Miniatures", "The Sketches", story "The Chords") are analyzed as the ideal-artistic unity, expressing not only peculiarities of author's outlook and attitudex of a lonely person to the world but spiritual and intimate mood of a new epoch (the beginning of the 20th century).

Poetical experiment in early creative works of U.Dubowka. pp. 122--130

Summary: The article deals with poetical masterpieces of Belarusian poet Uladimir Dubowka. His theoretical essays, like "Thoughts and comments on our literary language" and "Rhyme in Belarusian folk art" promote analysis of the collected poems published in the twenties of the XXth century. Special attention is stressed upon typical for the poet innovatory methods such as: creation of new words, search for original rhythmic and compositional lay out of the verse and rhyme.

Summary: The main directions of onomastic work in Belarus are described, investigations carried out by Belarusian scientists in last decades are reviewed. Analysis of publications allowed to characterize the degree of research of different onyme classes and onomastic material from various regions.

Adjectives of size in the language of Ya.Kupala. pp. 141--144

Summary: The manners of expressing king size in Yanka Kupala's language are various. The most distributed Slavonic adjective big is incorporated into modern Belarusian vocabulary. Besides this word, Kupala brings into use peripheral adjectives of later origin with secondary meaning of size and additional semantics. Use of these lexical units accounts for the considerable influence of the Russian language and dialectal traditions on the work of Yanka Kupala.

Summary: One of the types of lexical variability-symbolic variabilhy (language status, the nature of pragmatic component, ties with literary creation process) is analyzed in the article.
