The NAS of Belarus held a seminar “Use of Anti-Plagiarism System in Scientific Process”, focused on practical issues of determining the degree of originality of scientific works and copyright compliance. At the event the possibilities of a new version of the text borrowing system “Anti-Plagiarism” were shown, namely innovative methods of text processing and search of plagiarism, complex functionality for users, convenient and informative forms of reporting and storing of documents, new search capabilities according to collections of documents with more than 130 million sources.

The lecturer of the seminar was the Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Yury V. Chekhovich, who is Executive Director and a co-founder of "Anti-Plagiarism" company.

The seminar was attended by over 200 people. The seminar was organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, JSC "Anti-Plagiarism" and the "Tregross-info" company.

Before the opening of the seminar the NASB Chief Scientific Secretary Aleksandr V. Kilchevsky noted the interest of the Academy in the subject and invited scientific organizations to assess the opportunities provided by "Anti-Plagiarism" system to users.
