The main thematic area of research is to study the role of the hippocampal alpha2-adrenergic receptors in the formation of short-and long-term potentiation in neural networks underlying the brain functions such as learning and memory. The hypothesis on the effect of α2-adrenergic receptor agonists on the activity of hippocampal neuronal populations controlling the memorization processes in rats was verified.
