An important part of the system of coordination of scientific activities are the councils, commissions and committees of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which were established under the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, departments and research institutes of the Academy, in accordance with the Regulations on Scientific Councils (Commissions) No. 36 of May 21, 2010 and the Regulations on the Creation and Operation Procedure problem councils at the departments of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus No. 43 of 02/09/2015. Together with scientific councils of different levels, they develop proposals for coordinating scientific, scientific and technical and innovation activities in relevant fields of science in areas that are crucial for the implementation of the priorities of socio-economic development, development of scientific, technical and intellectual potential of the Republic of Belarus.
