On August 29, 2022, a round table was held at the Joint Institute for Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on the topic: «Science, industry, medicine: cooperation between Belarus and Russia in high-tech areas».

This event was held as part of an expert media press tour on August 29-31, which was attended by the representatives of the allied media – RIA Novosti, TASS, radio stations «Vesti FM» and «Belarus», information and analytical portals Soyuz.by, SB «Belarus Today» and «Tver-24», TV channels «Belarus 1», «ONT» and «STV», as well as printed publications – newspapers «SOYUZ. Belarus-Russia», «Union Veche», magazine «Belaruskaya Dumka».

The following made presentations and discussed issues of Russian-Belarusian cooperation in high-tech areas: Sergey Kruglikov – General Director of the State Scientific Institution «Joint Institute for Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus», Sergey Zolotoy – Director of the State Enterprise «Geoinformation Systems», Sergey Gubkin – Director of the State Scientific Institution «Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus», Vitaly Plavsky – Deputy Director for Scientific and Innovative Work of the State Scientific Institution «B.I. Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus» and Margarita Dosina, Head of the Science Department of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

Representatives of the allied and Belarusian media visited the structural subdivisions of the State Scientific Institution «Joint Institute for Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus» and the State Enterprise «Geoinformation Systems», where they were told about the cooperation between Belarusian and Russian scientists.
