Dear colleagues!
On behalf of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the upcoming Labor Day!

This day is celebrated in different countries and unites millions of people around the world. It has become a symbol of social justice and freedom, a call for solidarity in the name of the prosperity of our Motherland and the happiness of each of its citizens. This year, May 1 acquires a special sound. After all, conscientious work, the glorification of a working man are the key directions of the Year of Peace and Creation.

The history of Belarus shows that it is only through tireless work that worthy results can be achieved and the well-being of the country can be ensured. It is not for nothing that the activity of scientists at all times has been particularly in demand by the state. With the help of scientific achievements, Belarus provides solutions to many large-scale fundamental and practical problems. Without science, it is impossible today to successfully develop industry, agriculture, medicine, education, and many other spheres of social development.

On this bright day, I would like to thank all the employees of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, who contribute to the successful development of the scientific sphere through their activities, multiplying the glorious traditions passed down by generations of Belarusian scientists.

May our common work and striving for creation make our country richer and stronger! May spring bring energy and joy, inspire new achievements!
