The Belarusian side is represented by a group of directors of major research and production organizations, leaders of scientific and technical projects.
Opening the workshop, Chairman of NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov called it “a landmark event for our academies, our scientific communities and our countries”. The NAS of Belarus expects this workshop to bring good prospects of cooperation with the American side and is open to collaboration in the entire range of areas: “We are ready to demonstrate our results, our institutes, laboratories, so that you can see that Belarusian science has made significant progress and possesses good capacities for cooperation”, said Vladimir Gusakov.
