On March 3 the conference "Belarusian Literature in Cultural Space of Modern Society" dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the national writer of Belarus Kandrat Krapiva starts

On March 3–4, 2016 the International Scientific Conference "Belarusian Literature in Cultural Space of Modern Society" dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the national writer of Belarus Kandrat Krapiva is held at the Yanka Kupala Institute of Literature which is a branch of the Center for Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1 Surganov Street, Build. 2, Minsk). The forum will be attended by prominent scientists, writers, researchers of Kandrat Krapiva’s works.

The problems to be discussed are as follows: Kandrat Krapiva and actual problems of linguistics; scientific and social activities of the Academician K. Atrakhovich (Kandrat Krapiva) and his entourage; Kandrat Krapiva’s works in modern information space (cultural, historical, sociological, philosophical, psychological, pedagogical, didactical and methodological aspects); the problem of creative writing in works of contemporary authors; new interpretation of the Belarusian literary classics; the Great Patriotic War in life and work of writers; Kandrat Krapiva and genre and stylistic search of the Belarusian literature of the XX and XXI centuries.

The conference gets started at 10:00 a.m. on March 3, 2016.
