The Press-centre of the Press House hosted a press conference “Development and Implementation of Scientific Developments of Belarusian Scientists.” The event was attended by Chief of Staff of the NAS of Belarus Piotr A. Vityaz, Director of the Heat and Mass Transfer Institute Oleg G. Penyazkov, Deputy Director General of State Research and Production Powder Metallurgy Association Evgeny E. Petyushik, Deputy Director of RUE "Research and Production Center of Multipurpose Unmanned Systems" of the NAS of Belarus Aleksandr A. Shchavlev.

During the event Oleg Penyazkov informed that in the Heat and Mass Transfer Institute tests of the thermal protective shell of the descent module of the ExoMars-2016 mission spacecraft, which was sent to Mars on March 14, 2016 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, had been carried out.

Piotr Vityaz told journalists that a new machine for cleaning pavements is being developed. The corresponding initiative has already been agreed with the parties concerned.

Aleksandr Shchavlev reported that the unmanned aerial vehicles produced by the NAS of Belarus are in demand on the world market. He said, “Over the past five years many systems have been delivered abroad. When supplying we offer not only specific samples, but also domestic technologies for the production of aircrafts and components of unmanned systems, and this is in demand on the world market. Such technological lines we delivered to Vietnam and Turkmenistan. Now Mongolia and Azerbaijan are interested in this.”
