The Institute for Nature Management of the NAS of Belarus began accepting applications for participation in the International scientific conference "Problems in Rational Use of Natural Resources and Sustainable Development of Polesie" which will be held on September 14–17, 2016 in Minsk. The conference is organized jointly by the National Academies of Sciences of Belarus, Russia, Poland and Ukraine. The Institute for Nature Management of the NAS of Belarus is responsible for solving work issues on the organization of the conference.

The purpose of the conference is to generalize international experience in use of Polesie natural resources and preservation of the unique Polesie landscapes, to determine scientific and technical priorities in nature management for sustainable social and economic development of the transboundary region of Polesie.
