On May 24, 2016 within the visit of the Shandong Province (PRC) delegation headed by the Province Vice Governor Wang Shujian to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, there was the signing of a package of documents on cooperation with organizations of this Chinese region. Among the documents there are the Agreement on Cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and the Linyi City Government, the Framework Agreement on Cooperation in transfer of technologies between the SSPA “Scientific and Practical Materials Research Centre of NAS of Belarus” and the Honghua Company specializing in new materials and a number of other agreements.

The symbolic opening of the Joint Scientific and Technical Institute also took place during the visit. The Institute is being established by the Scientific and Practical Materials Research Centre of the NAS of Belarus and the Electronic Joint Stock Co. of Linyi City (PRC).

The parties expressed willingness to expand scientific and technical cooperation on a broad range of activities.

The visit will last until May 25, guests will be invited to a number of organizations and institutions of the NAS of Belarus.
