The 3rd International Expert Seminar on Renewable Energy "Renewable Energy: Potential, Achievements and Prospects" is being held at the National Academy of Belarus on May 25–27, 2016. The seminar program provides reports of experts from academic and university circles of Belarus, Moldova and Kyrgyzstan considering use, assessment of efficiency and implementation of specific solutions based on renewable energy in practice.

The objectives of the seminar are as follows: analysis of current situation concearning the use of renewable energy in the world, at regional, subregional and national levels; exchange of experience in the use of the progressive practices for the implementation of energy saving policy with the use of renewable energy sources; analysis of contemporary education tendencies in the field of renewable energy sources; promotion of cooperation between Belarusian and foreign scientific organizations.

The event is organized by the Institute of Power Engineering of the NAS of Belarus with the support of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Energy Efficiency Department of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian National Technical University.
