On September 16, 2016 a Scientific Ring which is the first Belarusian project in the format of scientific battles, or Science Slam, which is very popular around the world, starts in the Minsk High Technologies Park. The Scientific Battles will be attended by young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, universities specialists and independent experts with experience in the field of science. The main purpose of the project is to create a community of scientists who are really interested in the popularization of science, as well as to enable a broad audience to get acquainted with unique researches and technologies developed by Belarusian specialists.

During their speeches at the first "Scientific Ring", scientists presenting different fields of science will affect important issues concerning diagnostics, prevention and treatment strategies of various diseases, pharmacology, resources of the human body, ecology, alternative energy and others. Announcements of the speakers presentations are available on the official Youtube-channel of the event.

The Scientific Ring will be supported by the Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Belarus, the Central Scientific Library of the NAS of Belarus, the EPAM Systems company, the EPAM-Garage and the High-Tech Park.

The event will start on September 16, 2016 at 18.00.
