International Scientific Conference “Radiobiology: Minimizing radiation risks” takes place at Institute of Radiobiology of NAS of Belarus on September 29-30, 2016
On September 29-30, 2016 at the Institute of radiobiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Gomel) hosted the International Scientific Conference "Radiobiology: Minimizing radiation risks". The conference was attended by scientists from 35 scientific and practical organizations of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and the Czech Republic. The conference featured 35 oral and 10 poster presentations. The reports highlighted the results of scientific researches on topical issues of medical and biological consequences of radiation contamination for plants, animals and humans. Forms of radiation control and assessment of radiation doses, new radioprotective means and methods of minimizing radiation risks were proposed.
