The authors of the work (from Belarusian side) "Optical spectroscopy and electronic structure of Germanium-Silicon (Ge/Si) nanostructures with molecules from quantum dots of Germanium (Ge)" Alexander V. Mudryi, Chief Scientific Officer at SSPA "The Scientific and Practical Materials Research Centre of the NAS of Belarus", Candidate Physics and Mathematical Sciences, and Vadim D. Zhivulko, Junior Researcher at the at SSPA "The Scientific and Practical Materials Research Centre of the NAS of Belarus” were awarded the V.A. Koptyug Prize. The Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov handed diplomas and medals to the Prize winners.
As previously reported, the team of the Belarusian and Siberian scientists became the laureate of annual V.A. Koptyug Prize for the cycle of works “Optical spectroscopy and electronic structure of Germanium-Silicon (Ge/Si) nanostructures with molecules from quantum dots of Germanium (Ge)". This decision was made at meeting of the NASB Presidium on May 27, 2016.
Diploma of the A.V.Lykov Prize laureate was awarded to the Vice-Rector for scientific work at Mogilev State University of Food Technologies, Doctor of Technical Sciences, and Professor Alexander V. Akulich for the cycle of works "Hydrodynamics and heat and mass transfer in interacting swirling flows and highly efficient devices for drying and trapping dispersed materials". He was presented the highest award by the Decree of the NASB Presidium № 47 from October 11, 2016.
