On January 24, 2017 the International Scientific Conference "Problems of Experimental Botany: Eleventh Kuprevich Readings" dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Academician Vasily F. Kuprevich and the Year of Science will be held at the Institute of Experimental Botany of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The Conference program provides:
1. The report “Life and Role of V.F.Kuprevich in the Development of the Belarusian Science” by Director of the V.F.Kuprevich Institute of Experimental Botany of the NAS of Belarus Aleksandr V. Pugachevskii.
2. The lecture “Syntaxonomic Diversity of Ukraine and its Environmental Assessment” by Director of the Geobotany and Ecology Department of the N.G.Kholodny Institute of Botany of the NAS of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine, prof. Yakov P. Didukh.
3. The lecture “Problems of Syntaxonomy and Synphytosozological Assessment of Vegetation in Belarus” by the leading researcher of the V.F.Kuprevich Institute of Experimental Botany of the NAS of Belarus Iosif M. Stepanovich.
4. Memories about V.F.Kuprevich.
