In accordance with the Regulations on the procedure for holding an annual open national contest, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 11 August 2005 No. 367 "On Improving the Stimulation of the Creative Work of Young Scientists", the national contest for the Belarus President scholarships to talented young scientists for 2018 has been announced. Doctors of sciences under the age of 45 years, candidates of sciences up to 35 years, scientists without a scientific degree up to 30 years (as of January 1, 2017) who have achieved the best results in scientific, technical, innovative activities can be nominated for participation in the contest. When nominating talented young scientists for participation in the contest, one should evaluate their achievements in priority areas of fundamental and applied scientific research and scientific and technical activities, their contribution to the social and economic development of the Republic of Belarus.

Documents of applicants drawn up in accordance with established rules and signed by the head of the organization are submitted before June 10, 2017 to the Department of Prizes, Scholarships and Awards of the Personnel and Personnel Policy Department of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus by the following address: Minsk, 66 praspiekt Niezaliežnasci, rooms 317, 406.
