5 September 2017, a press conference on International Forum on traditions and current state of culture and arts took place at Press House press center. Karpilova head of Screen Arts Department of the Kandrat Krapiva Institute of Art Studies, Ethnography and Folklore of the NAS of Belarus, Candidate of Arts, Associate Professor; Veronica N. Yarmolinskaya, head of Dramatic Art Department of the Kandrat Krapiva Institute of Art Studies, Ethnography and Folklore of the NAS of Belarus; Alexandra V. Hurko, head of Ethnography Department of the Kandrat Krapiva Institute of Art Studies, Ethnography and Folklore of the NAS of Belarus.

Scientists told the media about preparations for an international scientific and practical conference on traditions and current state of culture and arts dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the creation of the Kandrat Krapiva Institute of Art Studies, Ethnography and Folklore of the NAS of Belarus. They summed up the main results of the Institute's work for 60 years and provided information on new scientific developments in this area.
