The Congress will be held in Minsk on October 18-20, 2017. It will be the largest scientific forum in the field of philosophy, social and human sciences in the history of our country, and a milestone event of the Year of Science in the Republic of Belarus. More than 500 Belarusian scientists, teachers, post-graduate students, and experts from Belarus, the EAEU countries, countries of Europe, Asia and America will take part in it. Heads of international scientific organizations and foundations, leaders of national philosophical schools from many countries worldwide will be among the guests of the congress.
The organizers believe that the Congress will promote better consolidation between national scientists in solution of fundamental tasks of the Belarusian state, society and culture development. They also expect that the Congress will demonstrate the Belarusian science achievements, the national spiritual culture heritage and intellectual potential, the country's contribution to the peace process and the solution of global problems of our time. The Republic of Belarus is rightly proud of its millenia-old tradition of philosophical knowledge, modern Belarusian philosophy enjoys authority and deserves interest from scientific and public communities abroad.
The meeting was attended by Boris Svetlov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus; the officials from the Ministry of Education and the Minsk City Executive Committee; the Heads of the NASB Institute of Philosophy, the Belarusian State University, and the Academy of Public Administration under the Aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus. The topical issues of the Congress preparation, the formation of its program, the reception of high-ranking foreign guests were discussed at the meeting.
