On 18 January 2018 (Thursday), at 10.00, children from the Syrian Arab Republic who are on rehabilitation in the educational and health center "Zubrenok" will visit the NAS of Belarus (praspiekt Niezaliežnasci 66). 53 boys and girls are expected to arrive. The children will learn about the latest developments of the NASB scientists, history of the leading scientific organizations in the country. They will meet with the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Bureau of the Council of Young Scientists, and will visit a number of scientific organizations of the Academy of Sciences.

10.00 - 11.00 - Visit to the NASB permanent exhibition "Domestic scientific achievements for manufacturers" and Museum of NASB History (praspiekt Niezaliežnasci 66).
11.00 - 11.30 - Meeting with the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Bureau of the Council of Young Scientists (conference hall of the Institute of History of the NAS of Belarus, Akademičnaja vulica, 1).
12.00 - 13.30 - Excursions in the NASB organizations to learn about achievements of Belarusian science (the United Institute of Informatics Problems, the Institute of Genetics and Cytology, the B.I. Stepanov Institute of Physics, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering).
