The meeting aimed to inform about the implementation of the program "DNA-identification" ("Development of innovative genogeographic and genomic technologies for personality identification and individual characteristics of the person on the basis of the study of gene pools of the Union state regions" 2017-2021).
Academician Alexander Kilchevsky, Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Corresponding Member Sergei Krasny, Deputy Director on Scientific Work of the N. Aleksandrov Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology, and Andrey Tetyuev, Head of the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus, made presentations for the representatives of the republican and allied media.
Journalists visited the structural units of the Institute (laboratories of human genetics, the Center for collective use "Genome", the Republican DNA Bank of human animals, plants and microorganisms).
