The characteristics of the patriarchal gender system and their influence on the status of men in society will be considered. The status of men and women in the social space of patriarchy and psychological problems faced by men of traditional attitudes will be analyzed; the influence of traditional stereotypes on the educational process will be considered. The author recognizes the need to overcome certain gender stereotypes and formation of a culture of gender equality.
