Professor Alexander A. Mongin graduated from the Belarusian State University, defended his thesis at the Institute of Photobiology of the NAS of Belarus under the guidance of Professor S. V. Konev. Currently, Professor Mongin heads the laboratory in the Department of Neuroscience and Experimental Therapeutics Albany Medical College, New York, USA.
