As the Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov noted during the meeting of the Joint Committee on Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBITAK) and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Belarusian and Turkish scientists will develop "Road Map" for cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and TÜBITAK for 2019-2021. In turn, the Vice-President of TÜBITAK Orkun Hasekioglu said that the Turkish side is interested in expanding cooperation in all fields of mutual interest. At the meeting of the Joint Committee, Belarusian and Turkish scientists agreed on common areas of scientific and technical cooperation, which will be included in the "Road map". Among them are unmanned aerial vehicles, graphene and laser technologies, optoelectronics, new biomaterials, including biodegradable ones, as well as joint research in the field of monitoring and control of air pollution in Antarctica. It is planned that in the near future a specific list of joint projects will be agreed to fill in the Road Map project, which is scheduled to be signed during the visit of the State Delegation of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkey in April 2019.
