The purpose of the visit is to discuss the state and prospects of development of the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation, mechanisms of participation of the Republic of Belarus in the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as the active functioning of the Chinese-Belarusian Great Stone Industrial Park.
During the talks with the First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergei Chizhik, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for development of the Belarusian-Chinese scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation, the contribution of the NAS of Belarus to the scientific and analytical support of the Belarusian-Chinese relations and identified promising areas of cooperation between the organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Research Development Center of the State Council of China.
