By the decision of the Presidium of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Belarusian and Siberian scientists has been awarded the Academician V.A.Koptyug Prize for 2019 for the research work “New catalysts for the synthesis of chiral heterocyclic compounds with high pharmaceutical potential based on natural monoterpenoids.”

The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences award the Academician V.A.Koptyug Prize for outstanding results in joint research under the interstate programs, as well as for joint scientific works, scientific discoveries and inventions of great scientific and practical importance.

The Siberian Branch of the RAS held the competition this year.

The winners of the Prize on the Russian side are scientists from the N.N.Vorozhtsov Novosibirsk Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences:

Doctor of Chemical Sciences Nariman Salakhutdinov,

Doctor of Chemical Sciences Konstantin Volcho,

Candidate of Chemical Sciences Iryna Ilyina,

Candidate of Chemical Sciences Oleg Ardashov.

The winners of the Prize on the Belarusian side are scientists from the Institute of Chemistry of New Materials of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus:

Academician Vladimir Agabekov,

Candidate of Chemical Sciences Alexander Sidorenko,

Anna Kravtsova.
