Targets and goals:
The journal "Proceedings of the Institute of Mathematics" publishes in Russian and English original articles in the following sections: algebra and number theory; real, complex and functional analysis; computational mathematics; discrete mathematics and mathematical cybernetics; differential equations, dynamic systems and optimal control; mathematical methods for information security; mathematical modeling and numerical methods; brief communications. The volume of the article is no more than 20 journal pages, taking into account tables and figures, the volume of a short message is up to 5 pages. A larger volume of the article is allowed on an individual basis, by decision of the editorial board.
