In accordance with the Regulation on the procedure for holding an annual open national competition for the appointment of scholarships of the President of the Republic of Belarus to talented young scientists, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated August 11, 2005 No. 367 "On improving the stimulation of creative work of young scientists", a national competition is held to award scholarships of the President of the Republic of Belarus to talented young scientists for 2026. Candidates who have achieved the best results in scientific, scientific-technical, and innovative activities are nominated for participation in the competition: doctors of science under 45, candidates of science under 35, and scientists without a degree under 30 (as of January 1, 2025). When nominating talented young scientists for participation in the competition, their achievements in priority areas of fundamental and applied scientific research and scientific and technical activities, and their contribution to the social and economic development of the Republic of Belarus are taken into account.

Documents of applicants, prepared in accordance with the established rules, are submitted in the following order:

before May 23, 2025, an electronic version of application materials is sent to olga@presidium.bas-net.by for preliminary review and elimination of comments;
by June 5, 2025, documents signed by the head of the organization and filed in a lever arch folder are sent to the Department of Prizes, Scholarships and Awards of the Main Directorate of Personnel and Personnel Policy of the NAS of Belarus at: Minsk, Independence Ave., 66, office 317.
