The Belarusian delegation included 20 promising researchers representing scientific organizations of the Academy of Sciences: The Scientific and Practical Center for Materials Science, the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, B. Stepanov Institute of Physics, A. Lykov Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer, the Physicotechnical Institute, and the Institute of Powder Metallurgy.
Participation in the event will be an important step in strengthening scientific and technical cooperation between Belarus and China within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The Summer School program includes an intensive course of lectures from leading Chinese experts on key areas of modern science.
In addition to the theoretical block, the program also includes intensive training. Young scientists and researchers will become familiar with innovative approaches to creating materials for energy, including electrochemical storage devices and energy converters.
A visit to the Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will enable Belarusian specialists not only to study advanced working methods but also to establish direct professional contacts with their Chinese colleagues, including for the implementation of new joint research projects.
