In order to form a holistic positive image of science, increase its authority, attract the attention of the general public to the achievements of Belarusian scientists, stimulate creative and professional activity of both journalists and non-professional popularizers of science, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus continues to accept applications for the 2023 contest with awarding diplomas and cash prizes to individuals in the following categories: the best publication; the best publication in a popular science edition, the best story (program) on radio and television; the best representation of the achievements of the NAS of Belarus on the Internet.

Nomination materials are submitted to the commission on paper and electronic media by December 20, 2023 at the address: Minsk, 66 Niezaliezhnasci Avenue, Presidium of the NAS of Belarus (office 411) and by e-mail: press@presidium.bas-net.by.

The set of documents includes:

1. An application signed by the head and certified as relevant with the seal of the editorial office, news agency, directorate, indicating the nomination for which the work is claimed, indicating the date and place of publication or broadcast, indicating the surname, first name, patronymic and position of the author, a brief announcement of the claimed materials;

2. Publications, stories, materials on the declared nomination for 2023 themselves.
