The Grand Opening of the 31st International Specialized Exhibition “BELAGRO-2021” was held on June 1 in the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park “Great Stone”.
The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov. In his welcoming speech, he noted that the Academy of Sciences is a traditionally active participant in the “BELAGRO” exhibition. This year, science is presenting at the exhibition more than 150 latest developments, including promising varieties of forage and grain crops.
More than 40 organizations of the NAS of Belarus will take part in the 31st International Specialized Exhibition “BELAGRO-2021”. This year the exposition will be held under the motto “Science for life. Technologies for people”. It will be located on an open (over 750 sq. M.) and covered (over 250 sq. M.) exhibition area. The exposition includes somatic blocks: “Biotechnology for Agriculture”, “Digital Farming”, “Technologies and Equipment for Livestock Breeding”, “Food Security”. A number of the latest developments of scientists will be presented at the “BELAGRO-2021”.
The exposition of the 31st International Specialized Exhibition “BELAGRO-2021” is complemented by the exhibitions “Belferma” (the latest achievements in the field of animal husbandry) and “Belproduct” (food products). The Agrarian Forum traditionally brings together not only Belarusian farmers and workers in the food and processing industry, but also foreign colleagues and partners. This year more than 400 companies will take part in the exhibition, which will present agricultural products, equipment and machinery from 16 countries: Belarus, Russia, Great Britain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Lithuania, China, Poland, Serbia, Sweden, Estonia, Italy, Denmark, Czech Republic, Ireland. A separate exposition block presents by the enterprises of Germany and the regions of Russia: Voronezh, Rostov and Kirov.
